What are some remedies for nausea caused by prescribed drugs?
What are some effective remedies, herbal or synthetic, for nausea that is caused by prescribed drugs? I do not want to get a prescription for anything. Could you please mention whether or not the drug is sold over-the-counter, and also what the generic of the drug is, since i am located in australia and may not be able to get a particular product.

- Milk or ricewater. (Chinese use rice water for nausea)
- Drinking rice milk, eating yogurt - you can get these at the grocery store. Taking ginger capsules or drinking ginger tea - these are available on line or in any health food store. ( You can order on-line from Health Center For Better Living in Naples, Florida) www.hcbl.com
- Peppermint tea is a commonly used to cure nausea, as well as dimenhydrinate ( Dramamine, Gravol, Calm X, Dimetabs, Dinate, Dramanate, Hydrate, Triptone Caplets) all of these are antiemetics, and antihistamines. Antiemetics are used to treat nausea and to reduce vomiting. I hope this helps you in your quest to ease your symptoms.
