What is a good teething solution for a 3 week old puppy?
I have a big german shepard pup that is teething cause he chews really hard on my hand after I bottle feed him.His mom couldn't nurse him so I've been bottle feeding him for 2-1/2weeks.Is there an old-fashioned remedy out there?

- If you are talking about like toys and stuff a great thing to give 3-4 week old puppies is an old t-shirt to play with. I actually read this in an article online for breeding/whelping/and raising puppies.
- this seems too early to be teething as this normally happens after they have been weaned. when my pups are teething i wet a tea towel and freeze it and then let them chew on it - great for hot weather too!
- I really don't think this is actually teething as much as learning to play. It's at this age that they are starting to get up and starting to play. This often happens after feeding. This is a crucial time and he needs to be able to play. If he gets to ruff he needs to be taught as mom would to not bite so hard,. Unfortunately handraising a pup is a lot of hard work as it's a lot more than just bottle feeding and gettign to solid food. The mom from birth to 8 weeks is socially training hte pups as well as sibling rivalry teaches. If mom and siblings aren't around for this it then falls on the human.
