Vomits

What can I give a kitten to stop vomiting?

I have a 4 week old kitten who last night started vomiting. She is still nursing from her mother and drinks water. What she vomits up is, what looks like to me is phelm that is white & a little yellowish in color. Is there anything I can give her to stop the vomiting, and also what can I give her to keep from getting dehydrated? So far since10pm last night she has threw up 4 times, but she tries to drink water, but cannot keep it down. After drinking, she vomits like 40 minutes later.

  1. Since she is so young, I think you need to call the vet for advice. They will either tell you what to do or have you come in if it is serious enough. I would be prepared to take the kittens and mother in for a check up.
  2. You really need to contact a vet about this. It could be a serious problem if she can't keep her mothers milk or water down.
  3. Get thee to a veterinary. Quickly. Kittens can dehydrate very fast and being so small its hard to get fluids back into them.
  4. Call a vet. I don't mean this part to be funny or sassy, but what if she is allergic to mother's milk? I know that my bother was allergic to my mother's milk and he had to have goat's milk when he was first born (60 years ago)
  5. EEEK. Go to a vet as this could indicate disease. Shouldn't be vomiting AT ALL at that age.
  6. VET!!!!!!! you need to take her to the vet she could have a very serious she could be very sick so call the vet
  7. Go to the vet asap. and tell them it's an emergency. Your kitten needs help.
  8. You should probably take the kitten to the vet. Good luck
  9. Kittens dehydrate quickly, get her to the vet.
  10. GO TO THE VET!! They can help your cat stop vomiting and maybe give you something to stop it or tell you what to do about it and can also help keep her from getting dehydrated.
